The other night we went to see a Met game at the Ziegfeld Movie Theatre in the city. It sounds weird but it was cool seeing it on the big screen. Plus we get to see the famous theatre and we even got free Mets tickets to a game and met Mr. Met. Here’s a photo of John with Mr. Met. Too funny!

A happy anniversary greeting goes out today to my cousin, Laura and her husband Keith. They have been married for 8 years today and I wanted to wish them a great day and many more years to come. Here’s a card I did to celebrate this anniversary.

I took a break this weekend…well a short one from designing to enjoy taking some photos. We went to a street fair and I snapped up some cool shots. I’ve been playing around in Lightroom which is a great program I’ve discovered. I have a better time with it since I’m using Andie Smith’s Road Trip Presets. They are awesome as well as a few other items from Pink Ink Studios. I really want to pick up these presets by Holly. Maybe if I sell some stuff this $2 Wednesday…we’ll see. LOL!

Have you ever had a layout or project that was so important and special to you that you just don’t know what to do with it? I’m having that problem with a layout now and I want it to be perfect since it means a lot to me but I don’t know what to do. I played around with it last night for about an hour and came up with NOTHING! I’m having severe scrappers block lately and this is making harder to get this one particular layout done. Here’s the inside scoop on the layout I’m talking about. I am scrappin’ the first time I met my favorite actress and idol, Dixie Carter. I am such a big fan of her and admire her so much that I want the layout perfect…so what to do? I guess I will just wait for it to come together all in due time. Anyways, here’s the picture from that night. Anyone have any ideas for me? =)

Speaking of Dixie, I just found out she just earned her first Emmy nomination for her performance last season as murderous mother Gloria Hodge on ABC’s Desperate Housewives. Nice and good luck, Dixie!!
I’m going to work on the website this weekend and I hope to dear god that I get the store and homepage together soon. I’m so bad at getting it done because it overwhelms me to no end. Alas, I will try to conquer my web fears!

So I’m doing ok on my eating better and spending less this week. Budgeting is another goal, which is so HARD! We’ll see how the rest of the week goes anyways!
Met up with a friend today for lunch who was so interested and excited about my digital scrapbooking, which was nice. She got me all pumped up to keep going with it and see where it goes. I’m thinking of dabbling more in Scrapping for Other soon…we’ll see. So if you are interested let me know. Before I take on more clients I need to finish some family books…the babies keep on coming! =)
Since my time lately has been on developing products I haven’t had the time to really scrap but I’m lovin’ quick pages lately. Here is a layout I just did the other day with a QP and then I added on a few items of my own to make it feel like I did something. LOL!
I’ll post some CT layouts tomorrow hopefully…they are doing a great job!
