Well the Mets blow the season today. I don’t even want to talk about it so here’s a layout of happier times when John met Mr. Met. I really love how this layout came out…it got me out of my comfort zone and really pushed me. It’s one of my faves!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Here’s a photo of my nephew Jackson who loves to make noises and say “HELLO” via his “dut do do” tube! It’s amazing what things kids love to play with. He is such a cutie pie and I thought this photo was cool and I wanted to share!

I had a creative burst of energy last night and worked on this layout of John and I from our anniversary. I think it came out pretty well. I tried to use a lot of the recent freebies I have downloaded and some elements I have never used. I usually don’t do much flowery things so I gave that a whirl. Anyways, here it is.

Not feeling all that well today so I will just wish you a wonderful weekend!
Talk to you soon!

The past few days I’ve been really in a creative groove getting things done and accomplished. I was just saying yesterday that I was happy with all the designs I was producing and how productive I’ve been. Well I think I jinxed myself because I think I hit the wall today! I spent a lot of time yesterday doing some design research for reference materials. I found TONS of cool sites, awesome cards and illustrations and fun stuff. I think all that eye candy put me into a sugary graphic coma and now I can’t seem to muster up my design mojo for the life of me. Although I’m finding this little rant/post creatively fun. Maybe it’s coming back to me…
Speaking of creative mojo the second week of the Stand Up & Scrap contest topic was posted yesterday. This week’s topic is: “What makes your life sweet? Where do you find sweetness in your everyday life? What about today do you want to remember for a lifetime? What happened yesterday that found you standing there with a smile on your face, or a tear in your eye? It can be as simple as an ‘I love you’, whispered across the room. It can be life altering; the birth of a baby, a brand new home. This week, we want you to tell us about your sweetest moments.”
I’ll have to give this some thought…as I don’t want to do something totally predictable and obviously me since I want to be able to keep this anonymous. I loved how my last layout came out for last week’s challenges. I really tried to push myself and do things l don’t ususally do…like extreme layering. I can’t wait to show you. If you know me at all you can tell which one is mine in this gallery. Try it =)
You like the illustration up top? Pascal Campion has some amazing works at his web site, so check it out!
Now I need to try to go be productive. Wish me luck!

Since I have recently been reevulating my goals and I’m constantly using to go and goal lists I thought some Goal Lists would be helpful for some of you.

So this is pretty basic but it will get you started! Click on the image for the download. Enjoy!

Hello blog people…happy Monday & Happy Fall! It maybe technically Fall but it’s feeling like August here still. Although yesterday was gorgeous and I’m totally going to miss this weather. Had a nice day yesterday seeing the family. My niece, Kayley & nephew Jackson crack me up and make me smile. Love those cuties. I took some pictures but not that many since our camera is broken. I’ve been in such a camera picture taken mood lately and now our camera has some weird line down the middle of the screen and the photos have it in them too. So I emailed Sony to find out what to do now…so now I wait to hear about it. In the meantime I’m going to use the hubby’s camera which is technically “ours” but I still have a weird thing about “his” and “mine” when it comes to things he had before. I’m so weird but I need to get over it since it’s a better camera! LOL!
I’m working on lots of goodies coming soon and I’ll have a collaborative kit tomorrow. Some of the MDM designers and I put together a kit for Breast Cancer and all the money raised will be going to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer charity. Stay tuned for that and if you just want to donate I will have a button on here as well.

Speaking of charity, I signed up for the Stand Up and Scrap Contest which is for a competition raising money and awareness for Climate Protection. 100% of the proceeds raised through the sale of the Stand Up Kit & Registration Package will be donated to the Alliance for Climate Protection. I have to do my first layout which is about “A Dream I Have” by tomorrow and I’m kinda stuck for now. I’m glad it’s all anonymous though so if it sucks no one will know. LOL! I just can’t look at the galleries and look at the other layouts. There are some really good ones and I think it’s actually stunting my creativity since I’m so impressed with everyone’s designs. I think to myself that is so good I can’t do that. Anyways, we’ll see but I can’t even show you for 6 weeks…he he he.
See you manana!

Here’s a layout I did of my cousin Alex from my collaborative kit,
Action Jackson. Love the Quick Page that Audra did for this one!
And I’ll leave you with a cool shot I took the other day while in
Brooklyn. I played around with this in Lightroom and I think it
came out pretty cool!

Almost Friday…thank god! Talk to you later!

Check out this mega collaborative kit, Action Jackson by Audra Little & myself! This is perfect for scrappin’ all the boys in your life and even the rough and tumble girls as well! Name of kit was inspired by my little nephew Jackson..he he he. Don’t worry all the other kids in my life with get kits and things named after them too. In due time, my pretties =)

Pick it up today at My Digital Muse. Speaking of My Digital Muse, yes it’s true…MDM will be closing as of November 1st. No need to worry though, I’m going to be selling all my goodies in my own store via my site. I’m even going to be hosting some challenges as well. So stayed tuned for more info and goodies to come here at TSD!
But in the meantime, MDM is going out with a BANG in October so be sure to stop on by to see what’s going on!
More to come…

I have lots to post but haven’t gotten the time to do it. I want to tell you about our adventures to Brooklyn to see the bridge and to the Mets game over the weekend. I also have some new products to share and photos to post. Ahh, so much to talk about but to do it is another story. I hope tomorrow, but here is a photo of John and I from the other day.

I thought it was a cute and playful one. Hope you enjoy. More soon…really!
