So it seems I’m shuffling off to Buffalo tonight unexpectedly. Due to a close family friend’s death I’m going to be out of town from tonight until Saturday evening. Just wanted to let you know in case you have needed me or didn’t see me online much. CT applications are still due March 1st and I’ll figure that out all next week.
With all the craziness of yesterday with planning a last minute trip, working late and packing I totally forgot that Men in Trees came back last night!!! At around 11:30 when I was getting ready for bed, John was like “Do you remember what today is?” cause he knows how excited I was about it coming back. Duh - I totally forgot. Anyways, we watched it then and it was ok. Seems the story line is slipping a little but I’ll stick with it in hopes it returns to the show it first was.
Anyways, I need to jet. Have a good weekend and talk to you when I get back!

This weeknd was our niece, Kayley’s 1st birthday party. Can’t believe she is going to
be 1 on Thursday! Where does the time go? Here are a few photos from the party. I also did a scrapbook to recap her 1st year which you can see featured in the bottom photo. Once I credit all the assets I can post some of the layouts. With every book I do I think I’m getting better and better. LOL!

Had off today as well as yesterday from work. It was so nice to have some time at home and not feel stressed from work. I was very productive today and after 8 loads of laundry I’m beat!

Have you ever had the feeling where you just want to yell at someone and say “Shut up and bite me!!!”? I’ve had it with some people lately and I really want to slap them. Elderly, children and pets are safe from my violent thoughts and wreath. But if you are a stupid annoying person in my face or a complaining pain in the A*S then beware - you have been forewarned!
Yes, I know you all are reading this and thinking I have lost my mind, which could be the case. Don’t worry Mom, Dad, in-laws or friends reading this I’m ok..just overworked and feeling the effects of work overload!
Speaking of stupid people I came across this site when Googling “I hate stupid people”. There is an actual site to complain about this!! How funny. If I get the time to look I’ll post some stupid people stories from corporate america!

I came across this site today and I thought it was funny. Ahhh design humor…what’s your type?
I was Comic Sans which is funny to me. I used to really like this type but being more of experienced designer now I have come to see it’s not that great. It’s a type that “wannabe” or “wouldbe” designers use. Funny! LOL!
I just found out today that I’m going to be a Guest CT Member for Mikkel Paige Designs. I’m very excited about this since she has some great stuff and I get to help promote her. Mikkel is on my CT and it’s nice to help support her since she has done wonderful work with my designs. I’ll start working with some of her fab products in March maybe sooner if I get some time! I’m sporting her Guest CT Blinkie on the side on the right already!
