Cold & TV

I know I have been MIA lately blog people but sometimes you need a break away. We were away for a few days last week and it’s been hard settling back into things. Plus it’s gotten very cold on the East Coast that makes me dread the idea of winter and just want to hibernate and do nothing. Haven’t really been scrappin much lately, not sure why. Just not feeling it. Trying to relax more and enjoy whatever time I have away from work. Been catching up on some tv shows lately and half are pretty awful and the other half are genius. Always seems like the awful ones linger and the good ones go away.

And for anyone who watches Ghost Whisperer I think it’s becoming completely dumb. Spoiler alert - how could they kill off Jim? Come on. I know I get so worked up over fake people and characters. I always have and when they do silly things to upset my shows well it makes me mad. I just want some enjoyable tv after working in the tv biz all day. LOL!!

Thanksgiving Card Templates & Freebie!

Just in time for Thanksgiving, I have in the store today NEW card templates for $2. In this set you get 4 layered 5×5 Photoshop files to make your card making super easy!

As a bonus, here’s a 5×7 Thanksgiving card freebie for ya.

It’s Been Awhile

I’ve been away a few days visiting family and I’m trying to catch up on things. To say I’m overwhelmed would be an understatement since I could have a breakdown any minute. One day back to work and I think I’m going to kill someone already.

Anyways, I’ll be back over the weekend with some odds and ends, some photos and maybe a goodie. We’ll see how the next 2 days go!

I will leave you with a photo of the best grocery store in the world though. We went shopping the other night and I miss it already!!! =)

Moo You!

Been enjoying all the sales, freebies and excitment of Digital Scrapbooking Day. Got a bunch of cool freebies and only a few purchases. Trying to be good.

Started a new photo challenge that Holly put together called a 100 Days of Moo You. Basically you take a photo of yourself for 100 days. Not sure I’m going to like the photos of me but that’s the creative thing about it..I’ll try to not really show myself. Anyways, here is my first photo of the challenge. Love that owl and I have tomorrow’s photo already done! He he he.

So the dieting is going well. I lost about 4 pounds since starting 2 weeks ago so I hope to keep it up or well down. Although we are waiting for pizza now…2 slices only.

Until tomorrow…

Happy Halloween

Hope you have a spooky scary Halloween and enjoy lots of candy! And for today only both my Halloween kits will be on sale for $2.99 in the store. Also it’s the last day to get the Save the Tatas Breast Cancer Kit =)

Coolest Sneakers Ever

I think I found the coolest sneakers ever and I found my size. How could I resist Kermit and green shoes?!! Can’t wait till they come in. Now do I wear them or just display them? LOL!

Halloween Feebie

Have some extra Halloween do dads that I created and thought I would share. Simple but fun. Enjoy!=)

Weekend Update

Time is escaping me lately and I’m not sure how it’s the end of October already!!

Anyways, nothing all that exciting here to report. I did have to take out my belly ring for a MRI I am having. Haven’t taken it out in 11 years, so it’s weird. Plus it’s making me feel old…just another example of how things are different from my wild younger days. LOL!

Week 2 of dieting went well. Lost 2 pounds. WOO HOO! Only 48 to go. =P

Looking forward to 30Rock coming back this week although I did see the premiere episode already but I’ll watch it again. Speaking of 30Rock we saw Judah Friedlander who plays  Frank on our walk today. He looks exactly the same in person - WEIRD!

Last but not least, this is the last week to get Save the Tatas Breast Cancer Charity Kit. All proceeds are going to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, so make sure to get it while you can!!

blërg

We recently have been obsessed with 30Rock and watched all 2 seasons of the DVDs. We didn’t really give into watching it before since it touches too close to home. But alas we finally started watching it and it’s pure GENIUS! Tina Fey aka Liz Lemon is my hero! I can’t wait for season 3 to come back in a few weeks. Blërg!

Haven’t blogged in awhile I know. Besides splitting headaches and not feeling well, working late and watching 30Rock everyday not much is new. I had been scrapping often but not in the past few days. Hopefully this week I can get some motivation cause I picked up some new scrappin goodies. =P

Going to the neurologist on Thursday and hope to have some answers about my health issues. So if I don’t blog much this week that’s why.

Before I go here’s some layouts I recently did for Halloween/Fall.

Jot It Down

I’ve been reconnecting lately with old friends from high school and even grammar school. While I’m excited by getting in  touch with people and catching up I’m realizing I don’t remember lots of things. I know you lose your memory when you get older but I’m finding it harder and harder to recall things I thought I would never forget. So this has made me realize I need to jot things down and try better to journal even the small things.

Worked on a layout this weekend of the highlights from our Chicago trip. Good thing when I got back from my trip I tried to make sure to just journal the key events and sights down. This is a perfect was to help me remember it all someday.

Also, on Friday I was surprised when I got to work. There were several statues from one of my favorite artists, Romero Britto. I was so glad I had my camera with me that day! Cool! Check out the other photos here on my Flickr.
