Been enjoying all the sales, freebies and excitment of Digital Scrapbooking Day. Got a bunch of cool freebies and only a few purchases. Trying to be good.

Started a new photo challenge that Holly put together called a 100 Days of Moo You. Basically you take a photo of yourself for 100 days. Not sure I’m going to like the photos of me but that’s the creative thing about it..I’ll try to not really show myself. Anyways, here is my first photo of the challenge. Love that owl and I have tomorrow’s photo already done! He he he.
So the dieting is going well. I lost about 4 pounds since starting 2 weeks ago so I hope to keep it up or well down. Although we are waiting for pizza now…2 slices only.
Until tomorrow…

So I know we are all about digital but I came across this blog post and thought it was a fabulous idea. Basically gather some of your old REAL scrap supplies that are scraps or things you don’t want and swap with someone. The purpose is to recycle what you have and make someone else happy and inspired to do something creative. I’ve been cleaning out my closet lately and have many things I don’t want but don’t know what to do with. Anyways, is anyone interested in a trade? If so let me know and I can figure out who swaps with who. I thought it would be fun and plus I LOVE MAIL! =)
I’m a bit late with this post today since it’s been a long Monday. I”m going to knock 11 & 20 off the list by saying I’m TIRED of having ALIMENTS and always being sick or “something”. I went today again to the doctor for various things as well as more leg pains I’ve been having. I swear I see the doctor more then I see some of my family. Not kidding!
After a morning of running around and a sonogram of my legs I’m happy to say I’m blood clot free! Although I’m clot free I’m tired of always having pains and to deal with “something”. I am aware that most of it is MY FAULT since I need to eat better, lose weight and exercise but I would it would just be easier and go away! Blah.

Anyways, that’s about it from me for now. Did some things around the house this weekend but nothing that I feel that accomplished over. I did scrap some which is something since I haven’t in awhile. I did put off doing what I really need to get done though. Maybe this week or weekend. Fingers crossed.
Back tomorrow for Tempting Tuesday Sale,

P.S. Loved this graphic when I came across it and Laura it makes me think of YOU!!! =P
I’m skipping around the list today since I have a celebrity sighting to tell you about!

John & I saw Julie Stiles last night shopping for groceries at this store by us. She was all bundled up for the cold weather and looked like a regular person shopping for food. I spotted her and then told John. We then followed her to make sure it was her. LOL! I yelled at John for not being more excited to see a celebrity and he thought I was crazy!
What can I say I love seeing celebrities! I’ve seen probably at least 75 celebrites over the years. And the funny part is, 6-7 years ago I complained about living in NYC all these years and never seeing anyone. Then all of a sudden it started to happen. I love celebrity spotting…it’s really a hobby! He he he!
Hope you are having a good weekend. I’m trying to get some stuff done today but kinda slow. We did go for eye exams and get new frames. I’m getting a new green pair. What are the odds?! John got a really cool pair too. Can’t wait to get them in.
Ta ta!

I was going to use a song about New York for my word of the day but after looking for songs I realized there were too many! So instead is sharing one I figured I would link to all the songs so you can see how many there are for this town!

As you can probably gather I’m a proud born and raised New York City gal. I still reside here although I did go away to college. Anyways, this town is one of a kind and although the crowds and people drive me crazy sometimes (mostly when commuting or on the street…so that’s most days then) I still enjoy being here. And you know what they say? If you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere…It’s up to you, New York, New York.
Have a good weekend…toodles.

I know this is a total cop out of doing this word of the day but here is a older layout I did awhile ago of my parents and me. I might have posted it before too. Sorry I’m just feeling very lazy right now. I’ll try to do one for the next one, which is New York (which is two words together..lol).

Happy Friday!

Seems I’m behind on my word of the day project….so let’s see what I can do here.
Saturday - food
Sunday - perfectionist
Monday - Friend
Today - dedicated
I’m a perfectionist when it comes to design and I love food too much these days. People who know me know I dedicate myself whole heartedly into my husband, friends, family, work and art. I am not one to “wing” a project if given to me. I will do my best to give you my all and perfect the project to death! Creative people are very perfectionist people.
So I cheated and combined all the words into ONE paragraph!

And today is Tempting $2 Tuesday in the store! You never know what will be on sale for only $2!
More tomorrow,

P.S. Laura, the apple is looking at YOU! =P
Today’s word is green and I’m talking the color green. I don’t think I need to really go into my love of green since anyone who reads this, knows ANYTHING about me or sees most of what I design can tell.

But I will share a past green layout of mine and I have a funny story with you from yesterday about green. I was in a meeting about “going green” and how we can creatively promote that in a campaign and/or any ideas. One of the girls turned to me and said, “Green is totally your thing, come up with ideas!” I thought it was funny cause I am the resident green girl but not necessarily an environmental expert who knows ways to promote being green. It made me laugh though.

Also yesterday at work Erik Estrada (from Chips) and Mark Consuelos (Kelly Ripa’s husband) were in the office doing some PR for our new movie, Husband For Hire on Oxygen this weekend. I heard they were coming the other day and I thought it would be funny to find some super cheesy photo of Erik Estrada from Chips and have him sign it. Well I found the best thing on Ebay…a Ponch Action Figure! If it was so damn expensive and would have gotten it in time I would have gotten it. I decided the next best thing was to print it and have him sign that. I thought this was a good idea in my head but wasn’t so sure I was going to do it. Anyways, my peeps from work convinced me to do it and thought it was funny.
Well Erik was actually VERY nice and signed it and laughed. He asked where I got it from and I think I made him smile. LOL! Classic..this action figure cracks me up!!!
Have a fabulous weekend and I’ll try to work on the next round of words soon.

P.S. Free Valentine’s Day Card Template over at Pink Ink Studios from me..today only!
It’s day 2 I this and I’m feeling lazy already…
It has been brought to my attention that I put the word creative on my list of words twice. I’m just so creative it somehow got on the list twice. My friend Jill who pointed it out (by the way thank you for pointing it out and reading my blog) suggested the word dedicated. So I’m adding DEDICATED as #7. And speaking of the word creative that is the word of the day! I actually took some liberty with the word and condensed it to CREATE.

Ever since I can remember I have been creative in some shape or form. I’m an only child which I think has lended to my creativity since I entertained myself, which is a good characteristic to have. I’m so happy to work in a creative field but sometimes I can’t turn my brain off from thinking of things. I tend to always be thinking of layouts, ideas, graphics and such. I guess it’s not a bad thing unless I want to sleep but I’m happy to pay the bills with my creativity ability.
