I can not put into words how sad, disappointed and disgusted I feel today. I watched, I routed and I believed all season up until the very end but the Mets couldn’t pull it off for the last season at Shea. I am truley sad and I’ll admit it tears filled my eyes before. It’s a sad day for our Mets household.

Found this photo while looking for something and thought it was classic and had to share!! Vintage 1987 baby! Sadly the Mets lost the other night which was just bad but I almost catch a ball and got to see Davey up close at batting practice. All in all it was a good time. Photos to come soon. Going back to work tomorrow after my week off and I can’t say I’m too excited about it. Blah!
I’m a bad blogger lately as usual. I have a lot to post but don’t know where to begin! I guess I will start in order.

We went to opening day of the Mets game last Tuesday. Here’s a cool photo that John took of me with the reflection of the field in my glasses. Anyways, the game was exciting to be at the last home opener game but it was pretty cold and they lost. I did get to have the day off of work though, which was AWESOME.
Speaking of work I’m going to start looking for a new job soon I think. As I type this I wonder if “Big Brother” is watching and keeping tabs on me. I highly doubt it but if so what do they expect?! SCREW THEM is what I say! =P In hopes of a new job I picked up this cool industrial portfolio case which holds 4 x 6 photos. It’s a bit smaller then normal but wanted to do something different and maybe having smaller pieces will make my designs look better. LOL!

I’m super excited cause I just ordered a new cell phone and it’s GREEN!! Johnny found it online for me and I took the plunge since my old phone was well OLD! I now will hopefully have texting and maybe emailing once it comes. I’m just so excited it’s green and has a swivel keyboard to it. I’m going to be so hip…he he he.
So besides all of that…nothing spectacular to report just the usual. I’ll try to be better about blogging.
Hope all is well in cyberspace,

baseball season that is!! Let’s go Mets! I’m counting the days till I have a day off and go to the Season Home Opening Game next week!

I actually got out early tonight from work so I’m savoring it. Nothing really new to report. Happy April Fools =)

Guess who is going to Mets Opening Day?? Yeah you got it…we are!! Also picked up some tickets for the Subway Series between the Mets and the Yankees. Woo hoo!
Well the Mets blow the season today. I don’t even want to talk about it so here’s a layout of happier times when John met Mr. Met. I really love how this layout came out…it got me out of my comfort zone and really pushed me. It’s one of my faves!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

The other night we went to see a Met game at the Ziegfeld Movie Theatre in the city. It sounds weird but it was cool seeing it on the big screen. Plus we get to see the famous theatre and we even got free Mets tickets to a game and met Mr. Met. Here’s a photo of John with Mr. Met. Too funny!

Anyways, have a great holiday weekend and don’t forget my sale going on now until Monday at MDM.
Toodles,

Make sure to vote for the Mets players to be apart of the All Star Team!

So we went to the Mets game last night and unfortunately they lost. We were in the second to last row of the stadium and it was a bit chilly. But despite that, the pouring rain and the loss, John and I had a good time. We did get to see David Wright get his first home-run of the season! Davey is my boy and he has been in kinda a slump lately, so it was nice to see him hit a homer. People around us were trash talking him much to my chagrin and then he rocketed that ball outta the park. Serve them right, jerks! =P
Speaking of Davey, yesterday he and a few other Mets were airline gate attendants on a Delta flight! To mark Delta’s emergence from Chapter 11 and subsequent re-branding, David, Willie Randolph and and Endy Chavez were at LaGuardia’s Marine Air Terminal taking tickets from Gate 2 passengers. How cool would that have been to get your ticket taken from a Met?!!
